On the top floor of the Arc de Triomphe, beneath the monument’s historic roof structure, stands “Le Couronnement”. Conceived and designed specifically for Jérémy Pradier-Jeauneau’s exhibition *La Tempête*, this custom-made sofa stands out as a centerpiece of the exhibition.
Placed at the very top of the structure, *Le Couronnement* engages directly with the raw architecture of the site and the verticality of the ascent. Its silhouette, both monumental and inviting, offers a contemplative respite where the materials echo the exhibition’s scenographic vision.
Straddling tension and tranquility, the sofa embodies this climactic moment where contemporary creation takes residence within the monument’s stone memory.
A statement piece that celebrates artisanal craftsmanship at the heart of a unique dialogue between French heritage and signature design.
